6 Spring Trends We Love

With so many amazing new styles trending this spring, we couldn't be more excited for the season to arrive! It may be wishful thinking, but we've got a jump start on spring style and have picked our top 6 trends that we absolutely must have this year! These trends are paired with our fav photos and links to shop similar looks! We hope you love them as much as we do xx.

1. FOOTWEAR: Mules

One trend that we are seeing everywhere this year is the mule! Whether it’s a flat or a heeled mule, closed-toe or open, we think these are going to be hot this spring/summer! We are seeing the mule in a variety of fabrics (satin, velvet, leather, canvas) and in a wide range of styles. One of the things that the we love about this shoe style is how versatile they are! They simultaneously pull any outfit together, while adding a trendy flair! We love them paired with ankle length skinny and cropped denim or with a great midi-skirt. We love how Sienna Miller styled them in the picture below.

2. DAY TO NIGHT: OFF THE SHOULDER TOPS

If you’ve shopped with us before, you know we love this trend! And it shows no sign of stopping this spring. Whether it’s on a dress or a fun top, we are seeing it everywhere. Exposing the décolletage is not only super flattering and feminine but it gives your outfit relaxed, spring-y vibes without being too revealing. It’s also a trend that is so easy to wear…throw on with a pair of denim and heels and you’ll look like a million bucks, or dress down with shorts and sneakers or sandals. Expect to see a large selection of this trend in stores this season! We can hardly wait!

3. EVERY DAY: Denim

The vintage denim trend we’ve seen all fall and winter continues into spring and summer this year and we’re loving it!  From distressed light-washed denim, to high/low and frayed hems, there are so many options that we love. Plus this trend still includes options with a high-rise…our favourite! If you’re in the market for new denim this spring, look for any of the following features: light wash/vintage wash, raw frayed hems, distressing and you have a fresh, on trend style that will last you through every season! Pair with a basic tee for daytime or a blouse for the evening…they’re the most versatile style we know!

4. STATEMENT: EMBELLISHMENT

Embellished-everything may be an adjustment for all the minimalists out there! However, this eclectic trend is where it’s at this spring! The trick to following this trend is pairing embellishment with the right pieces to make a statement without being over-the-top! Stick to making the item that is embellished the focal point of your outfit while keeping the rest more neutral. Whether it's an accessory, jacket, top or embroidered jeans, adding this detail to an outfit turns it instantly from meh to amazing!
