6 SUMMER TRENDS WORTH INVESTING IN
Since summer officially begins in less than a week, we can't wait to break out our summer wardrobes and also shop for all the best warm weather pieces the season has to offer. And with the many trends that we're loving at the moment, it's REALLY difficult to narrow down only a few favourites... but to spare your wallet, and an overly length blog post we've selected six of the our most coveted trends (between all of the V.O.C. gals) that we think are worth investing in this summer. Cute, feminine, on-trend summer outfits...here we come!
OFF THE SHOULDER TOPS
We are absolutely LOVING off the shoulder tops this season. Not only are they seriously on trend right now, they are super cute and comfy. Styled with your favourite pair of denim, these tops don't need to be overly accessorized so that makes the whole getting ready part of your day that much easier.
Denim dresses are everywhere right now and with good reason. Just like your favourite pair of distressed jeans, these dresses have a "cool" factor to them that instantly elevates your style. Rocking this trend all day long, you can easily wear a pair of casual sneakers or amp it up by throwing on some strappy sandals for the night. There is no doubt that this is a definite must have item to add to your wardrobe this summer.
Yellow is back in a big way. Some of our favourite celebs such as Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively and Mila Kunis have recently been spotted rocking this vibrant colour and now we are obsessed. Whether it's on a dress, a bag or a fun pair of sandals, you will definitely stand out from the crowd and turn some major heads in this super fun and summery colour.
Cropped sweaters have been having a serious moment in fashion lately. These might seem a little difficult to add into your wardrobe, so consider the follow pictures some inspiration.. High rise jeans or shorts will do wonders with this trend!
Probably one of our favourite wardrobe pieces in the summer time is a great pair of denim cutoffs. They might be the easiest thing to style. While one might see these as having been a more casual choice in the past, lately we've seen cutoffs being dressed up in the most elegant and classy ways, with a great pair of heels and silk blouse, OR kept casual with a great sweater and some booties. We can't get enough.
This 90's trend makes our hearts sing. Everyone from Stella McCartney to Topshop have embraced this and we have our fingers crossed that it's here to stay. We love adding a little bit of personality to our favourite pieces...and it's SO cute!
